About the Author

Kathleen Denly lives in sunny California with her loving husband, four young children, two dogs, and ten cats. As a member of the adoption and foster community, children in need are a cause dear to her heart and she finds they make frequent appearances in her stories. When she isn’t writing, researching, or caring for children, Kathleen spends her time reading, visiting historical sites, hiking, and crafting.

My Review:

I enjoyed this book by Kathleen Denly. I have enjoyed reading this series and so I enjoyed getting to continue to read about beloved characters. I liked that in this story we got to see Lucy and Preston fall in love. We got to know them a little bit in the last book so it was great to get to know them more. I liked how there was a lot of growth in the characters as they went through different things that required them to learn to trust each other. I also like how they helped each other overcome things from their past. I thought the story was well written and was very enjoyable.
